At Angeline Guido Design, we believe that great design starts with intentional storytelling. Project Haven On the Bend is a shining example of what happens when timeless design meets family-centered functionality.

This stunning home is now the backdrop of everyday life for a vibrant family of five, including a boy and 2 girls, and it was our goal to ensure every square foot reflects comfort, character, and cohesion.

A Warm Welcome: The Heart of the Home

Nestled in a picturesque suburb just outside of Dallas, this full-scale interior design project was a labor of love—from initial space planning and architectural collaboration, all the way through selecting the hardware, paint, tile, lighting, and, of course, furnishing every room down to the final throw pillow.

One of the main highlights about this project was getting to work with the very talented Chase Bowen of C. Bowen Custom Homes. Chase is one of our favorite builders and he has a meticulous eye for detail. We know that no matter what we might design, he will bring the vision to life with the highest standards.

We carefully curated lighting throughout—brass pendants, layered sconces, and chandeliers that evoke a sense of quiet luxury while supporting the home’s scale and architecture.

Crafted & custom

The kitchen combines craftsmanship with utility: custom white oak cabinetry, zellige tile backsplash, a bold navy-blue pantry nook, and a statement island with a walnut butcher block top.

A sliding ladder adds both charm and function—one of many unique details that makes the space feel personal and custom.

Lived-In Luxury: The Primary Suite

The primary bedroom is a serene retreat. Anchored by a custom canopy bed, the room is layered in texture: woven wall coverings, plush textiles, and soft neutral tones that draw in the surrounding greenery.

Soft roman shades frame expansive steel windows, offering views of the pool and landscape.

The adjoining bathroom continues this calming story with natural stone countertops, reeded wood cabinetry, custom mirrors, and a statement chandelier.

A built-in makeup vanity and double sink layout balance form and function, while antique brass plumbing fixtures nod to traditional elegance.

Kid-Centric Personality: Bedrooms with Heart

Each child’s bedroom is a creative expression of their unique personality. Both en-suite bathrooms are tailored to their occupants.

The Boy’s Room features a deep green vertical wood-paneled accent wall, plaid roman shades, and an earthy masculine palette. A leather bed, striped bedding, and custom built-ins keep the room playful yet mature enough to grow with him. The boy’s bath features graphic black and white tilework.

Both girls’ rooms are sweet, spirited spaces grounded in florals, blush tones, and a pop of color. A cane bed detailing and custom monogrammed pillows add a personal touch in one room, and a four-poster bed adds a bit of drama in another. Wallpaper and framed art bring whimsy and joy.

The girl’s bath showcases pink zellige tiles and a floral wallpapered vanity.

A Place for Everyone: Work, Play & Style

The home office takes a moody turn with navy built-ins, leather accents, and curated collections of art and objects. It’s a space that invites focus without sacrificing warmth or style.

Elsewhere, layered rugs, rounded upholstery, natural materials, and curated accessories reinforce the approachable sophistication that defines this home.

From Concept to Completion

Every corner of Project Haven On the Bend was designed and fully furnished by our design studio—from the plumbing fixtures to the final decorative styling. Our clients trusted us and C. Bowen Custom Homes with the complete vision, and we’re thrilled to have brought it to life with a result that’s elevated yet inviting, stylish yet lived-in.

This home isn’t just beautiful—it works hard for a growing family, supports their lifestyle, and reflects who they are. And that, for us, is what great design is all about.
