Meet AGD Junior Design Kendall Lebbin
Kendall Lebbin, a talented designer whose love for layered textures, bold color moments, and client connection shines in every project she touches.
A Passion for Design, Rooted in Experience
Originally from Manhattan Beach, a laid-back beach town in Los Angeles, CA, Kendall always had design in her world. Surrounded by beautiful homes and inspired interiors, she was naturally drawn to spaces that told a story. That early exposure sparked an interest, but it wasn’t until her dad pointed out Texas Christian University’s standout Interior Design program that the vision truly came into focus.
She majored in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Lighting at TCU, and after her first internship, she knew she had found her calling. “I loved forming a connection with clients and getting to know them on a deeper level in order to create a safe space for themselves,” she says. “It made me realize this was 100% what I was meant to do.”
A Style All Her Own
We recently asked Kendall Lebbin to share her current design inspirations, and she gave us a peek into her mood board—a curated tray filled with lush fabrics, elegant hardware, wallpaper swatches, and dreamy paint chips that capture her personal aesthetic. (See photos attached!)
Here are a few of her current obsessions:
Favorite Paint Color: Brinjal by Farrow & Ball
“It feels moody, classy, and feminine all at the same time. I saw it in a recent install and was immediately obsessed.”Go-To Fabric Line: Holland & Sherry
“Their textures and color palettes are so in line with my personal taste. I love seeing their fabrics come to life in our custom furnishings.”Design Trend She’s Loving:
“I’m really drawn to how clients are incorporating vintage pieces into their homes. The mix of old and new adds such great character and a story to each space.”
Current Wallpaper Crush: Omexco
“Their wallcoverings are full of unexpected textures and patterns I don’t see anywhere else. It’s a go-to source for adding dimension and richness to a room.”
Outside the Studio
When she’s not working on dream homes, Kendall is out and about in Dallas exploring the city’s restaurant scene with friends or spending time at Mutts with her adorable puppy, Frankie. Music is always in the background—right now, she’s loving “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams.
This summer, she has travel plans on the books: first a getaway to Colorado with her boyfriend and his family, followed by some relaxing trips to her family’s lake house in Lake Tahoe. “Spending time with loved ones in nature—it doesn’t get better than that.
Why She Designs
What makes Kendall so special is her ability to design for others without ever losing sight of her own creative growth. “We work on so many different styles of homes that are completely different from our own personal styles,” she explains. “I love that. It pushes me to learn new things, to appreciate all design styles, and to grow as a designer every day.”
We’re so lucky to have Kendall as part of our team—and even luckier to see the magic she brings to our projects and clients alike.
