Meet AGD Junior Designer Kayleigh Brackin
KAyLEIGH BRACKIN, A DESIGNER WHO INFUSES EVERY SPACE WITH HER LOVE FOR COLOR, CRAFT, AND THE PERSONAL TOUCH THAT MAKES A HOUSE A HOME.
A CREATIVE PATH, INSPIRED BY FAMILY
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Kayleigh Brackin has always felt a strong pull toward the creative world. Growing up surrounded by art and hands-on creativity, she was deeply influenced by her grandmother—a talented artist whose passion for color and detail left a lasting impression. While Kayleigh didn’t pursue painting or drawing, she found her own artistic expression through design.
“I’ve always been drawn to color, texture, and making things come together visually,” she says. “I also loved the problem-solving side of building and figuring things out—that’s definitely something I get from my grandfather.”
Her journey into interior design began in high school, when she started researching careers that would blend her artistic eye with her love for structure and strategy. That search led her to the University of Oklahoma, where she dove into Interior Design and never looked back.
STYLE WITH HEART
Kayleigh’s design style is rooted in balance—between old and new, bold and serene, artistic and functional. We recently asked her to share a glimpse into her current design inspiration, and her mood board did not disappoint: think richly layered fabrics, painterly wallpapers, textured hardware, and a perfectly curated palette of timeless and on-trend tones.
Here are a few of Kayleigh’s current design obsessions:
Favorite Paint Color: Sulking Room Pink by Farrow & Ball
“It’s the perfect soft, moody pink that adds just enough drama without being over the top.”Go-To Fabric Line: Zak & Fox
“Their textiles feel storied and soulful—there’s always depth and dimension in their patterns.”Design Trend She’s Loving:
“Color-drenched rooms! I love seeing how clients are embracing bold, saturated spaces that completely wrap you in a mood.”
Current Wallpaper Crush: Sarzana Mist by Robert Kime
“It has such a delicate, antique feel but still feels fresh—it brings such character to a room.”
LIFE OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
When she’s not immersed in designing beautiful interiors, you’ll likely find Kayleigh out enjoying Dallas’ vibrant restaurant scene with friends, wandering antique shops, or crafting something with her hands. “I love anything that gets me creating,” she says.
She’s also savoring her time as a new aunt and loves taking her dog, Goose, on walks and spontaneous outdoor adventures. As for summer plans? “Nothing major this year—just staying local and taking last-minute weekend trips to Oklahoma when the mood strikes.”
Current soundtrack on repeat? “Don’t Delete the Kisses” by Wolf Alice.
Why She Designs
Kayleigh’s approach to design is equal parts heartfelt and thoughtful—rooted in family inspiration, artistic curiosity, and a true love for bringing a client’s vision to life.
“I love how design lets me use both sides of my brain. It’s not just about making something beautiful—it’s about making it work, telling a story, and creating a space that truly feels like home.”
We’re so grateful to have Kayleigh’s talent, insight, and warmth on our team—her work is as thoughtful as it is beautiful, and we can’t wait to see where her creative journey takes her next.
We’re so lucky to have Kayleigh as part of our team—and even luckier to see the magic she brings to our projects and clients alike.
